Italian Vintage Lexicon

Among the books I treasure there is an Italian Lexicon from the early ‘900’s (first edition 1881 !) I found on a bookshelf, that belonged to my granny and probably was bought fresh by her parents.

Even as a child I was fascinated by the illustrations and in particular by the tables I found on it.

I’m offering you them here, fully refurbished with a new-old page restyling (perhaps a bit art-deco). On some tables I left untouched the Italian captions, descriptions and title (e.g. the Italian masks table with the traditional Italian names and the town of origin); on others, more self-explanatory, I’ve put only an English title (as for instance Antique Games, Gymnastic, First aid, Enology…)
Enjoy!
